Our Story
Built on ground we know
Matsopa Minerals began in 2001 with a single quarry lease and a small crew of geologists who believed the region's mineral wealth deserved to be developed properly — safely, transparently and to the benefit of the communities around it.
Today we operate three extraction sites and a central processing plant, supplying raw ore, industrial minerals and refined concentrates to smelters, manufacturers and trading houses. Our growth has been deliberate: we expand only where we can maintain the assay quality and delivery reliability our buyers depend on.
Every tonne we ship is traceable from the pit face to the port. That discipline is why long-term partners stay with us for a decade or more.
